Help me grow!

• I prefer a rich but well-drained soil mixture to help balance my need for moisture with my fragile, rot-prone roots. A terracotta pot is best suited for this purpose.
  
• Allow me to enjoy the filtered morning sun; however, afternoon direct sunrays may burn my delicate leaves.
• A weekly session of watering me thoroughly and then allowing the soil to dry out completely before watering again is best.
• Steady warmth and humidity are ideal for my growth.
• Re-pot me once every two years but ensure you change my topsoil annually though.
• My leaves can be harmful when eaten, so it is advisable to keep me out of reach of pets and kids.

1. How do you keep pests away from the plant?
   I am fairly resistant to pests, however spraying me with diluted neem oil takes care of infestations of pests such as aphids, scale mealy bugs and spider mites.
   
   
2. Does the plant require fertilizers?
   Feed me with a liquid fertilizer monthly throughout my growing period. Falling leaves is a sign that I need a good dose of nutrients to keep me healthy.
   
   
3. How do you propagate this plant?
   Green-stem cuttings dipped in root hormones to facilitate rooting are the best method for propagation.
